Functions of Union Parishad
Functions of Union Parishad (1) The main functions of the Union Parishad will be as follows, namely
(A) Administration and Establishment related matters,
(B) protection of publicity,
(C) Public welfare work related service, and
(D) Planning and implementation of local economic and social development related schemes.
(2) According to the second schedule of Local Government (Union Parishad) Act, 2009, the main functions of the council are as follows- Government can determine the responsibilities and responsibilities of women members of reserved seats. However, one-third of the development ward of the Union Parishad (TR Kaabicha and others) concerned ward should be assigned to the chairman of the implementation committee, the member of the reserved female seats.
1.5.3 Detailed functions of the Union Parishad described in the second schedule
(1) For the development of Panchshala and various periodic development plans,
(Ii) development, conservation and maintenance of rural infrastructure,
(3) Education and preservation of primary and mass education activities,
(4) implementation of health, family planning related activities,
(5) To take necessary action for agriculture, fisheries and livestock and other economic development,
(6) To take necessary action in management of pestilence and disaster management,
(7) Recovery of taxes, fees, tolls, fees etc.,
(8) To resolve family disputes, perform necessary activities related to women and child welfare
(9) The main role of acceptance and cooperation in the development of sports, social development, culture etc.
(10) To take necessary measures for the development and conservation of the environment,
(11) To maintain law and order, to perform the duties of the government and to take necessary action,
(12) Birth and death registration,
(13) Protecting public places, open spaces, parks and playgrounds,
(14) lighting the lights of the Union Parishad and the official place,
(15) Planting and preserving and preventing theft and destruction of trees,
(16) Maintenance and management of graveyards, cremation grounds, public meeting places and other government properties;
(17) To prevent entry of entry into the public roads, highways and public places,

(30) To take necessary action against fire, flood, hailstorm, earthquake or other natural disasters and provide full support to the government,
(31) Save and help the list of widows, orphans, poor and sick people,
(32) To promote and promote cooperative movement and rural industries,
(33) To take measures for the production of additional food,
(34) To control and maintain cattle farms,
(35) To arrange primary health centers,
(36) To take other measures necessary for the safety, comfort or convenience of the residents of the union,
(37) To introduce and encourage e-Governance,
(38) cooperation with other organizations engaged in a similar task like union parishad,
(39) The responsibilities imposed by the government from time to time.
